You must understand the question, and then you must quickly think of an answer in English. It seems like a small difference- but in fact it is a VERY important difference. With Listen and Answer, the speaker says, "What is your name?". and then you repeat, "What is your name?" With Listen and Repeat, the speaker says, "What is your name?". You don't repeat after the speaker, you answer his/her question correctly and quickly. This means you Listen to a question, and then you Answer it. Since you don't use your brain, you quickly get bored with "listen and repeat".Īs you know, I think Listening is THE MOST important activity for learning English. The following question is important as well So basically studying 5 days a week with his lessons will not seem like work. is saying is that his lessons are fun, interesting and transform the process of learning English into something enjoyable. The regular basis he is referring to is 5 days a week.Įverything takes effort, but what A.J. says that if you use his Effortless English lessons on a regular basis then you will speak Excellent English.īut what exactly does "regular basis" mean?įrom the name of the course "Effortless English" you might think that this course will not take any effort at all - but don't be fooled.
